Our Ethical Preference:

Stainless Steel: A Conscious and Sustainable Choice

While we work with all many mediums, including, sterling, resin, dried native flora, clays and papers, we will usually opt for stainless steel instead of silver-plated jewellery. This is more than a stylistic preference—it’s a mindful decision that reflects a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. With its exceptional durability, low environmental footprint during production, full recyclability, long-lasting nature, and minimal chemical impact, stainless steel stands out as an eco-conscious alternative. It offers timeless elegance while supporting the health of our planet.

What We Love About Stainless Steel Jewellery

It’s impressively durable.
Stainless steel is a tough, resilient metal that naturally resists scratches, rust, and oxidation. Unlike other metals, it doesn’t require constant upkeep, making it ideal for everyday wear—especially for those who work outdoors or live in humid climates.

It’s environmentally friendly (and who doesn’t love that?
Stainless steel is typically 100% recyclable. Since it’s not coated with toxic materials during production, there’s no risk of harmful runoff contaminating soil or water. Plus, many stainless-steel pieces are made from recycled metal. Who knew sustainability could look so stylish?

It’s surprisingly affordable.
Stainless steel has become a popular alternative to high-cost precious metals like silver and gold. It offers the look and feel of luxury—without the hefty price tag.

Unlike silver-plated pieces that can tarnish or degrade over time, stainless steel resists corrosion and wear, maintaining its brilliance for generations.
